From August 1 to 3, 2008, the national championships in water skiing took place on the world championship course at the Salmsee in Steyregg. The performance density was particularly high this year, but a starter of the WASSERSKICLUB ST. WOLFGANG was still able to win with a buoy on a 12 meter rope. TEDDY FURIAN from the "First Water Ski Hotel of Europe" brought the GOLD MEDAL in the discipline Slalom - Seniors to St. Wolfgang. With a total of 37 driven buoys at a boat speed of 55 km/h this results in a top speed on the 12 meter rope of over 100 km/h on the monoski. This success is also due to the excellent training conditions at Lake Wolfgang. |
